Lafoda couverture
The "Who am I ?" #2

1. I have limited means, so I like to wander around cities looking for still drinkable leftovers that people throw in the trash or on the ground.

That said, it's true that I get gastro very often. But as my old friend says: "It's better to catch the crap than to lose your toes." And he's right: when I see him carrying around his carcass on his two stems, the ends of which no longer have fingers, I tell myself that diarrhea is far preferable.

2. I like to redistribute the surplus that I accumulate to this society which has given me so much. So I don't hesitate to do it without counting.

It's true that sometimes I redistribute awkwardly and put it everywhere.
Some people step on it or get it on their heads.

3. Yesterday, I squatted at the park to pass the time. At one point, a passerby decides to play with me. Finally, he played against me. He comes closer and hands me a piece of bread. Neither one nor two, I rush towards this delicacy. It must be said that I haven't had the opportunity to eat something so "fresh" for days.
Arriving at his destination, he suddenly puts his piece of bread in his pocket and talks to me. So I obviously don't understand anything since it's not my language. I've only been in this city for a week. I often understand the tone of people who don't speak my language. And this guy seemed shady.
He approaches me and suddenly, gratuitously, hits me with his foot.

Despite the pain, I managed to escape and land in a new, safe place.
I don't understand them sometimes, people.

My old friend also often likes to say that “there are idiots everywhere, you know”. There, recently, I told him that there are good people everywhere because there are plenty of idiots. That's not what's missing.
He remained thoughtful. I saw from his eye (because the other one no longer worked) that he didn't understand well.
So I explained to him that saying that there are idiots everywhere meant, in my opinion, that most people were good but that we always found a few who were idiots.
I told him to replace “cons” with “good” and vice versa to understand what I was explaining to him.
There he looks at me with his glassy eyes, scratches his chest and leaves without a word.

4. We are observed and analyzed very often. I see them, these experts who constantly scrutinize our comings and goings. Wondering why we use one path rather than another. “Where do we come from?”, “What are we doing here?”. They want to anticipate us, I tell you. For what ? I have absolutely no idea. I just know that we remain unpredictable in their eyes.

5. Today I found my old friend on a street corner. All alone. Next to a hot air outlet but far enough away to still leave life there.
Its two stems were horizontally placed on the ground. Its head hung forward and left its beak in contact with the cold ground. Its inert wings sank to the ground and were already gathering dust.

A little end of the world for me but the hunger is greater, I'm going to see if he has left behind him anything to eat.
